End of Summer ’14 Playlist

The end of summer is officially upon us. TAOP has compiled a playlist of 14 anthems that made summer ’14 sizzle. Enjoy! -Team TAOP

Highlight Reel:

A summer ’14 playlist wouldn’t be complete without Calvin Harris‘ timely track ‘Summer.’ Wherever you ended up there was no escaping this song. That’s why we had to kick it off with this track, it’s uplifting hooks and lyrics – “We fell in love as the leaves turned brown” – made this one of the most essential summer dance songs.

Nicki Minaj heated up the summer with her remastering of Sir Mix-a-Lot’s classic. ‘Anaconda‘ dropped and made the internet go crazy ’cause baby got back!

Another tune that made AAOP’s summer playlist. Kiesza knows how to make a house tune and an awesome video to go with it. Hideaway has all that sounds you want in a hot summer track.

Wiz Khalifa dropped his album Blacc Hollywood this summer and this single quickly topped the charts. ‘We Dem Boyz‘ mixes all the fun of the carefree summer jams and leaves us feeling some type of way. 😉

Coldplay closes out our playlist perfectly. ‘A Sky Full Of Stars‘ gives us all the reasons why we’ll miss summer, but also leaves something to look forward to as the Fall cool down approaches.

Give the rest of the playlist a listen, and comment below with any tracks you would add that made your summer ’14 sizzle!
