Music Monday: July Selection

Summer is here. The beaches are covered, the pools are full and the weekend trips can never come soon enough. With the music festival circuit in full swing, summer is a prime opportunity to catch your favorite artist and discover some new ones. July Selection compiles a fresh selection of tracks from AAOP of favorites and new comers, perfect for that beach hangout, poolside lounging, weekend road-trip, or festival after-party that we hope your summer is never short of.

Kicking off the Selection are two tracks by Bondax. The young English producers have gained considerable recognition over the past few years with quality productions, big festival appearances and regular play time on BBC 1 Radio.  AAOP favorites Disclosure feature with a track off their upcoming album ,Caracal, releasing this September. Judging from their highly successful debut studio album, Settle, their much anticipated sophomore album is sure to be worth the wait.

A Selection playlist would’nt be complete with out some quality House Music. Dutch duo, Redondo, with an catchy tech-house track with the smooth vocal samples of Brandy, and Hot Since 82 giving his remix treatment to Argy & Mama’s Recluse. Two tracks perfect for the Ibiza summer season.

Ratatat features with a song off their upcoming album Magnifique, coming out later this month. Fans have waited a long time for a new album from the Brooklyn duo and are sure to be pleased with the new work. A-Trak, who recently played to a sold-out crowd at 1015 Folsom here in San Francisco, closes the playlist with some heavy Trap made perfect for the club.
